Welcome to my little corner of the internet.  This blog is devoted to seeing life in all its colors.  If you look hard enough, the world has so much to offer.  So much beauty and color.

I’ve lived my life, doing the things that were required (Not necessarily in order…)  Being a good person, going to school, going to university, graduating, getting a job, working hard to make an impact, getting the promotions, meeting my first true love (my G), getting married, and having 2 beautiful children.  Seemingly, the perfect life.  Except that I forgot one important thing.  To be me.  I was lost in the shuffle of figuring out what I was supposed to do, that I forgot to actually live.

I had an epiphany a few years ago.   I always felt that something was not fitting – Something was different and wrong.  I figured out that as a 40ish-year old person, working day-in-day-out,  I owed it to myself and to my family to fix shit if I had any hope of being a happy 90ish-year old one day.

The problem is fixing shit is not easy.  In fact, doing nothing is usually the easiest thing you can do, but it usually results in painful regret at some point in your life.  So, I pulled up my knee-high socks and started to do what was needed to be done.  It’s stormy at times, but I just keep reminding myself that for the rainbow to exist, it needs to rain once in a while.

This blog is an effort to write about the things I enjoy about life.  Sometimes, I’ll talk about the things I’ve seen, experienced, or have an interest in (Everything from Fashion, Technology, Travel, Food, and pretty much everything in between).  I’ll talk about the things I’ve always wanted to talk about, but just couldn’t, for whatever reason.  Basically, it’s about the things that make life interesting, at least to me.  Whatever life brings, it will be part of my life’s adventure.

I’d love it if you visit the site often, follow along, and leave your comments.  Most of all, I truly hope you find enlightenment in your life and find the ability to dig deep and see your rainbow.

Much Love,

V
