I met G for lunch yesterday and it was a really nice change to the same old routine. The weather wasn’t great. For April, it has been way too cold up until now. The small flakes of snow that accompanied and mixed with the misty drizzle, which wasn’t so magical.🙄
Nonetheless, we met and decided on a Vietnamese Pho soup place that is close to my work. Neither of us had been there before, so didn’t know what to expect.
It was a cute little restaurant and it was only about half full so there wasn’t any wait for a table.
We loved it. We started off with fresh spring rolls with peanut sauce (homemade) and then got a beef and chicken soup. I added some chili paste to mine and zing…. It was fabulous!
We had such a great talk about all sorts of things.
It was tough heading back to work afterwards…I was really enjoying it, but reality hit as my phone buzzed a reminder that I had 15 minutes to get to my next meeting.
We definitely need to do this more often.
